As a writer I am constantly experimenting with my writing styles. While writing my most recent novel I began to think about other ways to explore the history of the world I was creating. I pondered one morning over a Latte. It struck me that I could used a blog to explore my characters and the history of my world. All the while I would be able to create a story rich with excitement for readers to enjoy and give feedback on. Further, the concept seemed like the most fun way to explore the history of Azure and Faere.
I had come across serial novels before in my experiences as a Librarian and always thought they were a rather novel idea, (pardon the pun). The more I looked into this concept the more I fell in love with it. Thus I have created this blog or 'Blook' so to speak, for your enjoyment.
How does it work?
Each week, on Monday, I will produce another segment of the story, (I don't wish to call them chapters at this point as I don't know what form they may take in the future). At the end of each segment you will find a choice. You will have the option of emailing me, (librarygoddess2@gmail.com) or posting your vote on the blog itself. The voting will end on Friday. From these directives the worlds of Azure and Faere unfold before your very eyes. As a writer I also welcome constructive comments from fellow writers as well as my readers. I would love to know what you think of my writing and will do my best to improve upon my skills through your comments and suggestion.
The first installment will be posted tomorrow. It's written but it needs some refining so if you're looking at me today and would like to get my post then follow me on RSS and you'll get notified as soon as I post.
